Pros and Cons of living there?

I was invited to live with a friend when she moves there and I'm considering it. I hate Minnesota.

Also, most importantly, any of you LA residents know where to get that killa bud? Ha.

compared to minnesota? of course you should come here. but you in particular should be careful to find out where exactly in la you are planning to live. it makes a world of difference. if you tell me where your prospects I can give you better advice. a person of your tastes should stay on the westside, maybe the valley, or santa monica. stay out of the eastside, its not yr flavor...

oh and the herbs are everywhere. ridiculously.

i visited there last year and came home wanting to move there. cant think of a particular reason, just the whole experience was particularly refreshing.

i like that artificial town of artificial people, it is quite a pleasurable place, though highly insane. if you manage to avoid the usual pitfalls of becoming a junkie, a manwhore, or a thief, you should be alright.

and if you ever find yourself in a tight spot, you could always count on kegmama for a bowl of noodles. (where the hell is she gone anyway?).
