comment on the furniture above you

I can't see the picture that Nefeli has posted (firewall problems), so I'm going to look up and comment on what's above me instead:

A white artexed ceiling, with two wide cracks in it, a pair of striplights, and a smoke alarm. The smoke alarm works, it was tested this morning. The striplights attract wasps. The cracks in the ceiling seem to be getting worse.

Next furniture:

Too cold for me. I don't like the glass plate on the table...I would be worried if I don't scratch it by mistake. The color textures are relaxing though.

How about some old-style village house interior (styled cca 1900s-1910s)?

sarramkrop 10.19.2007 05:13 AM

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

sonicl 10.19.2007 05:15 AM

Too much clutter! I'm fairly minimalist as far as furnishings are concerned, and that would send me mad in five minutes flat.

I might post pictures of the interior of my house if the thread is still going tomorrow, and give the chance for people to be rude about it. We want to redecorate anyway, maybe we might get some interior design tips.

I can't comment on your pic, I'm afraid Nef. This game is no fun when played at work.

_slavo_ 10.19.2007 05:33 AM

I'll take the role, then.

Your pic, nef, is funny, although looks a bit "american" to me - mainly because of all those cat dolls, purple hearts or whatever that is and basically all the useless crap around. The texture on the wall makes me nauseous a bit.

I like the sofa, though. Posh and must be comfortable to sit on.

Take this, now:

some mountain villages hotels keep that style up, lets say in a more clean-cut version. and surely houses in villages still look exactly like that.

Really ? Village houses in Greece look like that?

Mine was a shot of a Czech or Slovakian village, I believe.

Black house with peat fire and no chimney.

Olivier Mourgue's Djinn chairs in this interior where way ahead of their time in 1968.

ZEROpumpkins 10.19.2007 08:26 AM

I like egg chairs. I do not like their price.

I used to actually think that THE FUTURE might be like that. what ever happened to my idealism?

since I'm commenting, and nothing I say matters, "Djiin" is the name of my (current) character in World of Warcraft. Djinn was taken, so, of course, I just thought I'd spell it slightly different.

MY BAD.

Djinn is a douchebag. the "whisper"/private messages started as soon as I got to where there were other people. "hey, new character?" blah blah blah.

PRO TIP: when told "this name is already taken", move one. don't get clever.

my comment:

I've posted this three times already, but my most embarassing moment ever was throwing up all over the back of "some dude" at the Star Trek experience at Universal Studios.

I'm a ruiner.
