Sonic Cooking: Next Level Meals

Need some ideas
I'm supposed to cook dinner for this girl wednesday
It can't be anything to intense, i'm not that great of a cook

I live to cook and eat.

If you're just starting out I'd go for something chicken based. Maybe you could make enchiladas? Potatoes of your choice and salad on the side. I myself am making a beef casserole tomorrow night for my family.

fuck being a fake. if you cook, you cook-- if you don't, you don't. keep it real.

one of my favorite dishes to cook that's not hard to make at all, but seems kinda fancy is a portabella walnut marinara suace over fresh fettucini....

start with a little olive oil in the pan
saute sliced portabellas
brown crushed walnuts
pour in strained tomatos
add fresh basil, oregano, cilantro, salt, pepper and just a splash of the wine you'll be drinking later

make sure you don't overcook the fresh pasta (the stuff from the refrigerated section at grocery store)... it takes a lot less time than the dry stuff

grate a little parmesan
garnish with cilantro

serve with an italian wine of your choice

let's see him handle that first & then maybe. if you cook (i do) that dish is cake, if you don't, the walnuts will burn, the pasta will be soggy the oil will smoke.

also it's good to add the basil at the last minute though, unless it's dry.

that game cracks me up. how am i supposed to cook with no sound or smell? and why is that funny little man using an electric stove?

that's true about the basil, but as you already pointed out, mushy basil is the least of his worries here...
