A weak dollar is great for US exports which will boost the flagging economy
The Chinese are keeping their currency artificially low in order to keep their exports cheap
A weak dollar goes part way to countering that
Crap for holidays, good for jobs

I wonder if it is due to the rise of children, so many oh so many.

It's fantastic news for Europeans buying records from the US just as the fact that the dollar is weak against the pound is for us Brits. Long may it continue I say.

I love the US/UK exchange rate. It is a beuatiful thing.

France is bankrupt without farming subsidies, Germany hasn't recovered since reunification, Italy has had something like 49 goverments since 1945, Greece constantly has to break borrowing restrictions, Hungary etc were fucked before they joined the eu, and in Poland I think the last person leaves in about three weeks time
