View Master
![]() anyone still got one? i just got some new slides for mine. i got - > Scenes of California. > Portland, Oregon. > Seven Wonders of the world. I love them, especially the 3D ones, you really feel like you are actually there! |
I had a Fisher-Price one too many years ago to remember.
I think I mostly had Real Ghostbusters stills. My interest in it didn't last long, obviouosly. |
yeah, they are a kind of one-use-and-then-you're-done-with-it kind of toy. I am still impressed that Disney and the like keep making view master slides for all their latest films though.

i love the Portland Oregon slides, for now its as close to Portland as i am going to get. :(
|
I have several, as well as a couple of other older stereoscope viewing devices. I also have a view master projector.
|
i have two somewhere.
|
someone around here probably has a laserdisk player too.
i do remember thinking those viewmasters were about the shittiest toy ever though. i was too jaded for that shit at the age of four. |
i enjoyed my two...what do they call them, wheels? catridges? i had like two or three and looked at them once a year.
|
View Master was too high tech for me, I had Mr. Potato Head.
