Please Help, this has been bothering me for years. The song is featured over the end credits for this Daria Video. When MTV released all the Daria videos they took out all the songs and replaced them with songs by lesser known bands. So websites like www.outpost-daria.com are not helpful.



The Song.

Its quite slow paced, the singer sounds a lot like Bob Mould.
The lyrics are really really difficult to make out, but here are the lyrics that i can make out from the song.

"Where will we go i will take us far away, for the face behind the place"

then there's some lines i can't make out
and the chorus which ends with the line

"speak to me"

I have searched for the lyrics on google, and got nothing, which is disappointing.

What I gather is the Pet Shop Boys, but I doubt this is the one you are looking for.

as i said the outpost-daria website is not helpful, as MTV changed all the music used in the episodes before releasing it onto video.

No , I have only heard them a couple of times , but the similarity with Sugar struk me almost immediatly ( I can't help much more )

try to find it on Youtube, and see if you can grab some lyrics for us.

I know Fluxus (the italian band) but I'm not sure they ever sung anything in english at all...
