I would like to put it out there that this woman's music is quite, quite wonderful, in an effort to detract from the ball-cupping that has become prevalent today. Do we like her? Yes, of course we do. Discuss, but don't disagree with me.

actually i like like half of her first record and a bit more than half of her second, but both got very burnt from constant radio play. i'm looking forward to listening to them again in a couple of years.

yeah, there's pop music and then there's pop music. music snobs are more prevalent though

Every February we have at WRCT what is called Massive Music Weekend- where DJ's do 1/2 hour blocks of their favorite artists. DJ Denton did a Liz Phair set, and when he introduced it, he said he'd play her old good stuff, plus some of her newer stuff that "doesn't make you want to put a screwdriver in Avril Lavigne's skull." All of us in the lobby listening were laughing are asses off, and he didn't even realize he said it.

I wouldn't kick her out of bed.

It kind of baffles me when guys find her hot, even for a pop singer. I just don't get her appeal musically or physically. No I have not heard the entirety of either of her albums, but I've heard the singles off both, and I just don't like it, even for a guilty pleasure.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who likes her music. She is pretty good looking too.
