Any One Like/Heard Of Damien Jurado?
 

this pretty much the only place i can go to talk about music that's kinda obscure/not well known... you people even name shit i've never heard of for fucks sake. none of my friends really know about this kinda stuff (i'm always the one to tell them about new/interesting music). i was just wondering if any one here liked jurado really. been listening to him for about 4 years now, the first time i heard him was "where shall you take me?", i got it for $2 in a deiscount bin at my job, and after that i went out and bought all his stuff. saw him live last year and it was kool, i'd never been to a "sit down" show (as i call them). so uh... yeah, that's it. i'm drunk @ work. shhhhhhhhh... don't tell my boss.

I've heard the odd track, and thought they were quite nice, but they didnt really impress me enough to explore his work further.

I think I have a subpop 7" by them in the "to be sold" pile.
