I swalloed a pill for the first time!
 

I don't really know what compelled me to do it. I never used to be able to, but I just put it on the back of my tongue and drank some Diet Coke and voila! I swallowed.
It was aspirin. I didn't even really need it.

That's going to bug me 'til the day I die.

Oh my god, I am supposed to be taking Prednisone right now and the doctor upped the dosage because it didn't seem to be working. So now the pills are bigger, still uncoated, and get stuck in my throat for about a second every time I try to take one, which is just enough time for it to leave the most vile taste in my mouth that stays there for hours on end. I tried eating, drinking, anything I could think of to get rid of the taste, but nothing seemed to work. I wasn't able to fall asleep until four in the morning, and when I woke up the taste wasn't there anymore. Still, NEVER AGAIN.

I have always had a sensitive gag reflex, and as such I've always had trouble swallowing pills whole. I have to take ammoxicillian every time I go to the dentist, early on I learned that I would have to take a liquifyed version. Swallowing pills is always hit and miss with me, sometimes it goes down with water, sometimes it doesn't. I'd rather just take it in liquid form, even if the liquid tastes gross (and most medication does), at least it goes down easier.

i'd never had a problem , could swallow a handful of pills all at once , but for some reason now i get very very panicky when i'm attempting to just swallow one , to the point where i have to slap myself before giving myself an anxiety attack . i get that feeling when i do a lot of normal things now . if i so much as stub my toe or wake up feeling a bit nautious i think "THIS IS IT ! THIS IS THE BIG ONE !" and think i'm dying . i never used to be this way .

A while ago, I pretty much had to take a pill cocktail every few hours. I felt like I would barf every time I had to swallow another. Just the thought of it made me gag.

I've never had problems with it before, and I don't now, but then it was terrible.

pills arent a problem, its what they do to your insides when the dissolve that worries me!

Not recommended, taking pills without water can burn the oesophagus.
