Songs for a funeral.
 

I'm doing a project on my life and I can't think of what songs I want to play at my funeral. Help a brother out.

The two that I can kind of think of:
For the Widows in Paradise, For the Fathers in Ypsilanti
Needle in the Hay

which kind of "emotions" are you going for?

Tinsel and Foil - Paik

Work backwards. What kind of emotions do you want to express at your funeral? What songs give off that feeling?

nick cave - people ain't no good
sonic youth - karen koltrane

I don't really know what emotions. I really like the Bauhaus idea. Thanks, guys.

In all seriousness though, something by La Monte Young would be good, as would "Dreamweapon" by Spacemen 3 (my personal choice for my personal funeral). Both of these embody the concept of Eternal Music, which is a beautiful counterpart to the eternity one enters upon death.
