ipod vs. zen
 

okay, this years christmas present is a bigass mp3 player.

i'm looking at either the ipod classic 80gb or the zen vision m 60gbs.

they all have their highlights, but im thinking about which one i should go for.

so, which one?

if you want one of those 2 , zen should cost much less. If money is not a problem get the ipod. you'll look cooler and you will only use your thumb and save the rest of your fingers for guitar playing and JO.

i'd just get a 4gb one and get something else for the rest of the money. there's no way you're going to fill up 60-80gb wih mp3s and listen to even a third of them. less is more.

yeah but my main problem with the ipod is that it might break easily (heard that a lot of people had this stuff) and i already have a smaller zen which works and sounds great.

i like the ipods features and colours and simplicity but the zen has like more colours and better (opinions of some youtube reviewers) sound.

i dont know...

well actually yeah, i thought about the nano, which was like 8 gb's but its like 20 euros cheaper than the zen which is like 60gb's.

and i've filled up most of my disk space on my comp with music and i need to transfer it to the thing.

ah, well for 20 euros extra you might as well get a bigger one.

my 8 gb nano2g is just the perfect companion to my everyday life.
more people complains about apple stuff, but it's kinda natural since they sell millions of things, making proportions I'm not sure the difference in "complaints" would look that big. They cost too much. BUT, as I said, if money is not an issue... along with HD size I'd consider portability too. I keep the nano in a silicon case that doubles its thinkness, and it still stays in my poket almost unnoticeably (?). The 80 gb or 60 gb things are less comfy, I guess... in any case, get a nice pair of earbud like the yuin PK2, If you want in ear things maybe shure or etymotic...they will make the *insert your future ipod model* sound much better regardless.

but the zen can still fit in a pocket though, no?
