new autechre album announced
Yeah, I heard that, but I hadn't seen the website. 20 tracks?! That's going to be insane. Can't wait, too, I really enjoyed Untilted (though no Autechre album really sound like one another, so I think it'll be something completely different...)
yes, its safe to go out again!
have they had anything since the brilliant "confield"
i heard aphex is working on a nw material slated for full length release too, confirmations anyone? i think im gonna listen to Confield and Selected Ambient Works Volumes 1 and 2 obsessivley now for a little while, might help me out with the jetlag. |
i think autechre gets better on every album.
new aphex twin? i dunno. i do know he did an excellent album as "the tuss" recently. |
I love autechre.
untitled and draft 7.30 came out since confeld right?

autechre is amazing, i'm quite excited about this release
Draft 7.30 was amazing, so was Untilted.
i have draft 7.30, thought it was an older one tho
ace shit!!
im pretty sure draft was after confeld, i could be wrong...
lp5 is where autechre were at a power tho, i love that album! |
Quote:
You're right, Draft was after Confield: 1993: Incunabula 1994: Amber 1995: Tri Repetae 1997: Chiastic Slide 1998: LP5 2001: Confield 2003: Draft 7.30 2005: Untilted 2008: Quaristice |
Actually, My favourite one is Anvil Vapre EP from I don't know which year. Melodic hooks combined with kickass breakbeat. Nothing groundbreaking, yet very atmospheric.

Three Quaristice tracks on this Wire playlist! This sounds FANTASTIC! Rale and WNSN are beautiful. It's like they came back to a more melodic sound but still with those insane rythmics. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. |
STOKED!!! hopefully it can live up to confield. i dont think theyve topped it yet. speaking of warp ism groups, you dig squarepusher?
