He's the main songwriter/musician behind Current 93 (he was also briefly in Psychic TV in the early, early days).

He has a pretty huge cult following/status of his own, so using it to increase the cult obscurity value of Jandek albums (which are great albums, but it would make more sense to me to just buy them direct from Corwood himself!) is an interesting marketing experiment.

I guess people might laugh at him if he sold World of Warcraft magic items from his collection on E bay instead...
