Metal Box: Stories from John Lydon's Public Image Ltd booooook!
 

So I found this book used and it came out recently and I had no Idea it even existed...I've wanted to learn more about PiL history without being a footnote to the Sex Pistols and now I have.

It goes into more details on the early years than the latter, which was a good idea in my opinion.

Recommended for PiL fans.

It's really sad in a way, all the ideas they had about being a Company and exploring all avenues of communications when they first started really didn't pan out...

There is some controversy about this - I haven't read it yet -I think I read some stuff on the fodderstomp website - but that it is too biased towards and against some of the players.

I have that other PiL book that came out in the 80's or 90's - its ok.
