I used to watch the old show a long time ago.

it was the only thing on TV at 2 in the morning.

it's really funny how much times have changed. a show that was once not fit to air until after midnight is now on primetime. I give it half a season.

I used to watch it as a kid. Funny, entertaining back then, not sure now.

I saw the new ones. It's fucking awesome. It's just a bunch of muscle bound lunatics beating the shit out of each other. What's not to like?

I always thought that, apart from the hokey costumes and set design, that american gladiators was a very cool athletic style competition, for regular folks to try their hand at.
I have not seen the new one though.

My favorite was the one where you shot tennis balls out of different guns and then tried to dodge the ones shot at you bythe gladiator.

I saw it was on, but didn't watch it.

I thought that show was cool when I was about 5.

Yes! They still have that!
I haven't seen the "hamster ball" style competition, though.
