and one of the chord progressions sounds like Bubblegum.

it does sound almost excactly like it...
it was the sixties, lots of songs sounded similar then.
the beggining of waterloo sunset sounds kinda like im not down by the clash. (the later coment had nothing to do with the former)

also, london calling has the same little intro bassline as dead end street by the kinks

also, i always thought bubblegum was a cover

yeah, i'm pretty sure it is.
