I'm not sure if your assessment of me IS "spot on", Norma. I tend to look for the good in everything. I just don't shy away from the bad shit either. If you ever notice, even in bands I tear to shreds, I still say SOMETHING good about them. Even failures are interesting.

Anyway, it's nice to know that when people actually take the time to listen to the stuff I reccomend, they end up enjoying it instead of just saying "YOU'RE TOO FUCKING UNDERGROUND FOR THIS BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sorry, I wouldn't be on a Sonic Youth board if I was THAT underground.

Thanks, I just saw you were listening to a lot of stuff I really like in another thread (Descendants, Goslings, Indian Summer, etc) and was about to comment about that haha. So, I'm doing it here instead.

Speaking of Goslings, one of my bands (Robe.) recorded a song for a split we're supposed to do with them but I guess they have a ton of projects lined up or something because it's taking 'em a while to get their side done. No biggy though! It'll be great...
