question about The Middle east club in boston
 

i will be in boston next week and really want to see om with my younger brother, only the age limit is 18 there. im 22 and he is 17 and 10 months, is there any chance that they will let him in?

hate to be the bearer of bad news but the show got canceled (actually the whole tour was canceled ...). i was going to go too ... and they definitely won't let him in being under 18. they are super strict due to the influx of college students with fake ids

yeah, like said above, boston is a pain in the ass with id's. ive gotten kicked out of paradise 4 times for trying to buy a beer with a fake. you think id of learned my lesson, but i dont.

that sucks that the show was canceled. om are amazing live...

[EDIT] I was so hoping you were wrong, man! But I see its now cancelled on the Luna Lounge site...well I will get to see Mountains of Matta Lama or whatever they call themselves this week opening for D Charles Speer tomorrow.

Probably one reason there was such a thriving rock scene in Boston and Cleveland and other places in the 70's was that the drinking age was 18. The feds raisedit to 21 and just killed off 3 years of cultural interaction.

Oh well, who cares, lets talk about somethign safe and approved like millionaire sporting events! The Stuperbowl isn't choreographed like prowrestling, oh no, its real.

i really want the patriots to win for some reason. i think it's because the giants play in jersey and i want to see at least one perfect team in my lifetime. i wanted to see the dolphins lose all 16 games so i could see a winless team in my lifetime. baltimore ruined that one. anyway, it would be neat to see eli manning win one the year after his brother wins one. 31-10 patriots.

why isn't there a superbowl thread in non sonics? i guess we could talk about the musical guest if you want to talk about it in this section.

dude, honestly it doesn't matter that the show got cancelled. Middle east staff are infamous for being dicks to people. You NEVER would have gotten in. I've seen the staff randomly beat up people and grab people by the head and throw them out. A friend saw them doing coke which could explain their a-hole personas.

that's why I always carry a safety pin to stab them in the eye.
