I like Dancing... Who likes Clubbing?

Oh yes it is fun to dance in a pool of sweaty people. I finally went to a club on Saturday, and it was so much fun. So who here likes to go clubbing?

pbradley 02.05.2008 03:45 AM

I'm curious, are there any Alaskan gossipers out there?

That is a funny picture man. It doesn't beat savage on dreads though.

sonicl 02.05.2008 03:51 AM

I like to dance, but whenever I go to any place with a dancefloor the music is terrible.

I don't find that photo funny at all.

And no, I don't like 'clubbing'.
Give me a quiet pub any day.

pbradley 02.05.2008 04:44 AM

What's wrong, can't appreciate a little vertical baseball?

But yes it is a tasteless picture and I apologize for my cruel sense of humor.

Sorry I know it is wrong, but this made me laugh.

I used to like to go to parties back in the days when drum and bass was a big thing (1996-7). I never liked the whole party lifestyle though - like drugs and weird costumes and such. I just went there to dance my ass off.

Gulasch Noir 02.05.2008 10:26 AM

I like clubs.

Phlegmscope 02.05.2008 10:40 AM

I'd like to distinguish dancing from "clubbing". Dancing can be terribly fun, but nightclubs are mostly daft places.

Everyneurotic 02.05.2008 11:24 AM

no!!!!! gawd no!!!

actually, i've found myself uncountable times at some dance club with the awful music and shit. depending on how drunk i am, i usually end up dancing. i haven't in a long time, thank goodness.

Yes to dancing. Yes to clubbing. Yes to things. I am the Professor of Yes.

There's an important distinction to be made here - the sort of music that you listen to and enjoy in your bedroom would never, ever work in a club. Club music is great in the club context, but nearly never works in the bedroom.

Except Happy Hardcore, obviously.

Trasher02 02.05.2008 01:40 PM

Clubbing over here sucks. They only play happy hardcore and everyone's on XTC. So, no thanks.

I agree with you on this, because the music they played there I would never listen to at home.

EMMAh 02.05.2008 04:46 PM

I know I will not be down with the club scene. I've never been to one, but I just know.
My friends all went to one at these ski resort thing we went to, and I stayed back with the guys and smoked doobs haha. I'm too mellow for the clubs.

I want to see you dance, I bet you're awesome haha.

pbradley 02.05.2008 04:50 PM

Clubs are awesome when you want to be crowded out by drunk, sweating people.

m1rr0r dash 02.05.2008 04:52 PM

i like the club scene and club dance to the club music but only when loaded up with club drugs.

girlgun 02.05.2008 04:57 PM

clubbing is for gay men.

oh yeah :D
