Just wonderin if anybody can recommend some decent noise/experimental gigs/venues in Dublin these days???Any good up and coming bands?Or likeminded musicians interested in some sonic experimentation/opentuning jammage??Tryin to get a band together have a drummer and myself (guitar/bass/keys/loops/tape/creative strategies..lookin for similar minded peoples!obviously no question of taste or influences,if your on the youth boards,nuff said!

not in dublin living wise so hard to know any people looking to set up. all ill do is point yrself towards bands like bats and warlords of pez and giraffe running and so forth.

ha! a mate was there. he said as soon as a gard (irish for cop) got out of the car, someone screamed at him "YOU FUCKING DIE" and someone else accused them of being into field hockey players........

there is always buskers and street performers on stephenss green there, always. maybe not with that big a crowd..... the cops come in and have an unecesarry arrest cuz it was breaking up anyway. all because a few big knob buisinessess complained that their shopfronts were obscured!!!!!

i am just simply guessing but i reckon, knowing dublin, thats what probably happened!
