i read this on the paper hours ago but didn't feel like posting it here because, i figured, you'll be hearing all about it from every news outlet for the next 5 days.

Only 5 days? God, that would be a relief.

what the fuck were thay doing, standing right outside? jesus christ! the gunman must have walked past them on the way in!




[edit: actually there's a good chance a cop would be at my door in under six seconds if shots were fired at night, even if i didn't call 911... but if so, he would have hot coffee spilled somewhere on his uniform - i live across from the parking lot from where they park to chat after dark. a crowded campus at 3 in the afternoon is a whole different thing.]
