Polvo Spring Tour??
 

They are playing the Black Cat in DC on May 9th, but I couldn't find anything about any other scheduled dates after a quick search. I know some of you are pretty big Polvo fans, so I just thought I throw this news out there.

It's pretty much the best DC club. I mean, the 9:30 Club used to always have good shows, but now everything pretty much sucks ass. I actually haven't seen a whole lot of good bands at the Black Cat lately either.

I'm thinking about going 6-7 hours to DC just to see this.

6 hours? I don't know man....I can get from my hometown to Pittsburgh in 2 hours and from my hometown to DC in 2 and a halfish hours. It shouldn't be any more than 5 to get there!! Just go south to I-68 East and then it's gravy from there!!

I haven't gone to DC since I was a little little baby. It seemed much longer then.

Right on. Well, a Pittsburgh or Cleveland date might be in the works, so you could be money.

I wish I was more involved in the whole Pittsburgh scene. Then I could pull some strings.

The last time I saw show in Pittsburgh was Bardo Pond in like 2000. It was off Hot Metal Street or something?? That street name always stuck with me.

hmmm, don't know what venue that is. A lot of places have closed down- the Electric Banana, the Upstage, and the Rosebud are all gone.

Mr. Smalls reigns supreme. If Polvo play I hope they play Smalls.

It was in like a really old brick building.....I think it might have been an old theatre or something? There were only like 15 other people there.....it was one of the weirdest shows I have ever gone to.

Polvo should play in someone's basement, i'd be more down for that seeing as I'll only have my license for 7 days come this Black Cat show.

do you have Ash Bowie's number? Maybe I'll call him and they can play in mine.

According to Pitchfork, they're planning more dates in the U.S. This is going to be amazing. Or maybe they'll only play venues with "Cat" in the name.
