my slot loading drive decided to eat a CD and it won't eject.

there's no manual eject button and all other attempts (including terminal command lines) have failed.

now, thanks the fucking yellowman thread in the other forum, I get to ask the guys at the jeanyuss bawr to fucking push the eject on Big Blunts - 12 Smokin' Reggae Hits.

ok i wont gloat in your suffering, but suggest some psychobabble unrequested advice: don't cd drives have that little pinhole button to manually eject anymore?? it's gotta be there somewhere...

command lines, mouse while reboot, disc utility, trash can, turn computer sideways and gently tap....you name it.

quantum probability predicts a 89.7% chance of the drive head failing to release. the problem has to be mechanical....which means iHave to take it to some SMRT GUYZ so they can open it up.

i once took out a stuck vhs out of the vcr with a screwdriver.

not the optimal way of dealing with it but it got the job done.

i know, cuz with the pc you are allowed to get under the hood.

ps you can't remove the back of the screen manually disengage the dvd drive & find the proper hole to poke w/ above mentioned paperclip? cos it could be there just hidden.
