...i don't know if i'd go that far. sure, by the time he was president he wasn't exactly the sexiest guy in the world.... but in 1939, with his drop dead looks and charisma - i honestly think he could have been a leading man in the pictures.

but what you say about jimmy stewart is my point exactly. he was a great actor because of his charisma and style and warmth. i'm not saying jfk is like clooney handsome... i'm just saying that if he managed to capture the nation's imagination on the podium.
