I am somewhat cynical so I do sometimes have a shit attitude. But I agree about the egos. and that people suck. and that people should put some more effort in.

I've tried to think of many clever ways to reply to this, but I guess I'll go the simple route: I absolutely agree.

I agree too. It's not so much about people being insecure though, it's how they deal with it. A lot of people turn into complete dicks, desperately trying to boost their ego.

What fucking pisses me off so much more than this is the games people play, subtle little, stupid jealousy or power games for example. I always ignore it when people do these things, I don't take part, which pisses these people off, but it still pisses me off that they do these things. It's also like those fucking crap games people play in relationships and that whole area of things.

I suppose that's one of those things I'm proud of about myself, that I can recognise and ignore those stupid games. Jealousy games do not work on me! I won't get jealous, I'll just end up disliking and ignoring them, which I love for the frustration I sense in them.

Maybe we should start a commune without people.

when people act weaselly and cowardly and/or with self importance, it's because of insecurity.

i mean, yeah, i usually don't really get in too deep with these kind of people, but sometimes you have to, to get stuff done and that's what pisses me off, you want to do something the right way and the best way possible and, because these people are what they are, they make something hard even harder.

sometimes i feel like quitting everything and develop a drug addiction, but then things change or i watch the fairly oddparents and laugh it off.

Good thread. I'm really tired of the idea of dominating over others. In South Africa people work together to progress and help each other live instead of mindlessly putting people down for their own enjoyment and benefit of "social status". And then by being nice to others, it makes you more a more vulnerable target and people take advantage of it. Bullshit.
