May I interest you in some Rastafari Literature straight from the source?
http://www.nyahbinghi.org/
http://www.houseofbobo.com/ http://groups.msn.com/twelvetribesliveup or more significantly, some Garveyite propaganda? http://www.marcusgarvey.com/wmview.php?ArtID=401 and to seal the deal, here is some Imperial Ethiopian information to go the opposite direction of Lenin and become a monarchist rather then an anarchist.. http://www.imperialethiopia.org/selassie.htm http://www.ethiopianorthodox.org http://www.eotc.faithweb.com/ |

absolutely!! give it to me now baby.
wait. this is the ralph macchio thread, right? |
I'll get round to reading this eventually. For now I'll ask: isn't there an ideological struggle about how one needn't tranmit the Rastafari faith by writings? Presumably there's a grey area which isn't present in the Quakers? Please note: my understanding of Quakers is entirely down to 3 Quaker meetings I went to a few years ago.
Thanks for posting for the first time this year without an unecessary and plainly-seen bias. |
May I interest you in some anti-Rastafari literature?
|
I know nothing about Rastafari except what I've heard through reggae music. Thanks for the links. I look forward to checking out these websites tonight.

y'all know that you lurked and read it, thats ok, that is the entire point of the internet to begin with, to provide anonymity? Quote:
such as http://www.christafari.com or http://www.gospelreggae.com Quote:
no not necessarily, rastafari is centered on the concept of word, sound power. in this regard, the power of the word, regardless of the mechanism of transmission, is not limited, as long as it is sounded in the hearts, minds and voices of the people. I think you have mixed up Quakers with Nagualism[ http://www.nagualism.com/] |

That's such a cool picture. Thanks for posting those links, I'd like to read more about it and understand why I'll never be a Rastafarian. |

perhaps you might find yourself in a different situation entirely. I did, and I came into this work as an antagonist, like the Apostle Paul, persecuting those amonsgt Rastafari as blasphemy and paganism, how wrong i was! |

I doubt that would be my case, even though at my atheist best I still take religious and spiritual thought, feeling and literature very, very seriously. Thanks again for posting those links. |
I had a religious experience in Jamaica.
that said, I'm lacking the prerequisite melanin count to be counted amongst Jah's Best. PS: watch yr wallet and count yr change, there's gypsies about. |
No. I'll pass. In fact, I'll pass harder than this has ever been passed before.

Evangelism is irritating.
