I think this could be the next big step. Will it catch on with other people, or just us hipsters that listen to artists like Elvis Costello?

that's cool that he is doing this, but i think mostly 40-50 year old hipsters listen to him nowadays.

I thought that he was dead.

He did a throwback album a few years ago that had some decent songs on it.

it's a great idea, and i'm sure it'll cath on but probably not with the kids.

"The kids" don't even know what a "cd" is, nor certainly who Elvis Costello is for that matter! The kids don't even download MP3s, just ring tones.

This can only be a good thing as Elvis Costello's music deserves as little exposure as possible
