after seven and a half years, should I stop smoking pot?
 

I am just curious about everyday people's opinions regarding years of pot smoking and the related herb culture/economy?

i find that people who smoke weed all the time are the most boring in all the world.

You should def. slow down and don't make it a religious experience for fucks sake.

But seriously, you'll enjoy it more in moderation.

I will take that as a "yes, jesus man its about time."

I see no reason to be "all or nothing" about it, but there is a lot to be said for not being stoned the whole time you're awake every single day.

And "pot culture" is annoying as fuck.

ive started enjoying it a lot (a LOT) more since cutting down on it and only smoking say 3 days a week instead of every day. but yeah there's no reason to quit completely.

My favourite person in the whole world is stoned about 38 hours a day. She's amazing. Generally, the above statement is true, but like booze, weed tends to exagerrate shitty personality traits.

One of the most generous hosts I ever stayed with had an epic heroin habit; I know a handful of teetotallers who are cunts. All I can say is that if your drug, or lack of, is your personality, then you really need to contemplate where you went wrong.

I can also say that I have felt roughly four million times better since I stopped doing weed about 5 or 6 years ago.

but in the meantime, barcelona is definitely one of my stops in any future trips to europe, as well as amsterdam.

i know exactly what you mean -- but i've come close. but you can't recreate the "newness" of it all...that feeling of "woah i can't believe what i've been missing out on/this is awesome"

im going all over europe this summer and i'm definitely hitting up amsterdam.

i smoked some weed when i was drunk on saturday, but unless i'm drunk and with a cute girl, i never smoke it.

i don't need the trouble. i'm not gambling my life and the virginity of my anus on a drug habit. "fuck the laws" = big yawn.
