I think its amazing ive still not heard a song from In Rainbows, seeing as 10 years ago i was 13 and the only freind i had was Ok Computer. I was very dissappointed by Amnesiac and dissappointed by Hail to the Theif. And i missed this tonight.

Radiohead aren't really that good and have a lot to answer for [Cold Play].

oh god. coldplay are nothing like radiohead. thats bollocks to the highest order. radiohead are one of the few truly excellent bands who dont give a shit. they play what they want how they want to and still manage to sell out stadiums. im always amazed by the lack of respect for them here, and we all think we should know music. it a very cooler than thou approach to it.

Many crappy bands imitate the Velvet Underground, Joy Division or Sonic Youth, does that make the original bands crap too I think not.

yeah, but if the original band are crap (i.e. radiohead) and they inspire bands that are inconceivably terrible (i.e. Keane, Coldplay, that band from the Donnie Darko sound track) then it makes the original band all the more detestable.

i never understood the popularity of radiohead, it always seems rather bland to me.
