What's that soft rock song with the soaring sax melody?

its on the Soft Rock infomercial featuring Air Supply.

I know the song but don't know the title or who does it...i dont think they ever credit it when the songs scroll down.

I dunno, it's got a fucking soaring sax melody...

"deewnt deewnt duh nuh dew ney new..."

I know it's not Kenny G.

Anybody?

avantgarde1 04.05.2008 04:29 PM

CHOUT 04.06.2008 12:38 AM

no, i don't like michael bolton.

MellySingsDoom 04.06.2008 06:27 AM

Here's a picture of our man G Rafferty in a natty beard 'n' comfy jumper combination:

Let us not forget that Gerry was also responsible for "Stuck In The Middle With You".

thewall91 04.06.2008 08:51 AM

Gerry Rafferty rules - Right Down the Line was another great tune.

While we're at soft rock sax trivia, am I correct that other song by Chuck Mangione that was sampled in the Biggie Smalls song called "Feels so Good"? Or is it called something else?

Weird thing is I knew exactly what song was being referred to, but would have never been able to come up with the title.

I think I remember the radio guy saying the name of the song once, and I intended to download it before I forgot... but I forgot.

I'll probably forget by the next time I hear it anyways.

GrungeMonkey 04.08.2008 04:03 PM

i can only think of gerry rafferty baker street, surely it must be that?

CHOUT 04.08.2008 08:56 PM

as stated above...Baker Street was the correct song.
