Recommend me a production company that...

... makes high quality copyright free music/royalty free music.
for relative prices.

I need them for various promos, news flashes and recreational videos I edit at work.

I ordered a couple of cd's from AKM Music (UK) a while back, and they are horrible!
I need something that won't make my videos look more boring than they already are.
Help would be much appreciated.

PS: Please, no 80's synth shite!!!

I think that cd baby put out non-copyright stuff. Try also the many net labels that do the rounds the web.

I just looked at cd Baby's collection, and it doesn't look like they sell copyright free stuff for broadcastings purposes. Thanks anyway.

I've just come to the conclusion why most, if not all copyright free music by definition, has to be crap.
As long as you pay 5 miserable bucks for a given compilation, nobody will give a shit what it's used for.

just get garage band or reason or something loop based you can quickly throw stuff together that would be good enough for what you want
