as a collector of broken and used up things, I think that's beautiful.

however, as proven by the pictures, cassette tapes can only be found in third world countries.

i used to make weird tapes and leave then laying around in varoius parts of berlin. it was funny when i got responses from people.

Weird tapes? Like what? What was on them? And did you actually leave your address?

all kinds of noise and weird sound collage stuff i recorded and put together. i set up an email account and left the address in the tape case or on the label.

i would like to hear all the tapes i did on one go just to see what they are like now.

pretty much most of the time i never heard a thing. then i got a few 'i found your tape, do you want it back' kind of things but i did get a few nice replies. i also got some really bizzare ones too but i guess thats what i expected.

I like it when they do that sort of thing with books too. I've found two and made them travel accordingly.
