This would be a tragic moment for the NFL. 1st of all, anything w/ the last name Bush, turns to absolute shite. & 2nd of all, Paul Tagliabue has done a great job as the comissioner. It would be sad to see him go.

Tagliabue is stepping down in like August I think. He wanted to step down pretty much after last months draft, but they haven't found a suitable follower.

Bush has done a heck of a job as governor of Florida. I think he would be an excellent Commissioner.

Being a governor is all about being an organizer, a motivator, a negotiator and a leader. I think that would translate well as Commissioner of the NFL. And I'm not just saying that because he's a Bush or because he's a Republican.

The only other Bush who might do a good job is Reggie.
