New on Mutant Music: Thunderbolt Pagoda LP
http://www.mutantmusic.com/thunderbolt.htm
OK, so it's finally out now. Boxed edition of 360 numbered copies with silkscreen foldout poster booklet insert and hand-stamped labels, 180g virgin vinyl, RTI pressing. I posted it in the "Do You Have A Band" thread, but I hope you don't mind indulging this one as well. Special thanks to Peet Fetsch, Paul Metzger and Dan Black for their invaluable contributions to the art and package design. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
your band kicks ass. end of./
|
Damn, next paycheck I'll order it. Your stuff is fucking good man.
|
If Paypal weren't being a twat I'd've ordered this by now.
|
I'd feel kind of silly ordering this right now since I don't have anything to play it on at the moment, but that is a damn fine looking box.
Any chance this will be released on CD? |
|
They don't ship to Europe, do they?
There's no option to select a different amount for shipping and at the bottom of the page it says "European customers please visit Rustic Rod's Mailorder. [here]". Will they get copies though, or Eclipse maybe? Having said that, I need to sort out my Paypal first before I can buy anything. |
Those notes about Rustic Rod are from old releases, I believe. I know he doesn't yet have these (I hope to fix that soon).
I think they only reason it says that is because our shipping calculator was only giving people the USA shipping rate, which needless to say could tend to screw us for customers elsewhere. We'll ship anywhere; I'll ask Dave what the charges are and have him post them on the website. We JUST put these up last night, so we can correct these kinds of oversights very soon. |
OK, that makes sense... it seemed strange that they wouldn't.
|
lemme know how much shipping is to my neck of the woods, please.
nice work, it looks damn special. |
OK, our webmaster will soon be adding an "outside the USA" shipping rate, which I think will probably be ten or twelve bucks.
|
any distros that will carry it, drone?
|
If the past is any indicator, Eclipse and Rustic Rod should be receptive. They've always carried our stuff in the past. There are a couple of others I'll be asking as well. My downtime at work today will likely be spent on this issue...
|
with 360 copies, you can have a decent number of distros carry it.
|
Yeah, I know a few others I'll be asking.
Oh, and to hat and bread: Sorry, but there will be no CD of this one. We're jerks like that. |
Thanks!

Just received my copy today. (#47/360 I believe)
It's an amazing album. Very persistant, good composition. Ambient sounding moments, + chaotic, harsh, in yr face moments as well. I also love the overall course of the record. The build up of side A, & the climactic side B. Also, great artwork, & beautiful sounding 180g vinyl. Props to Thunderbolt Pagoda on a great record. Thanks Savage Clone! |
i didnt know about this, it looks good, congratulations.
i'll try to order it soon. |
