I am really fucking excited. Anyone else on the board going to the show at Triple Rock?

I've never been there. I hope it is nice. I'm gonna see Pelican and Mono there in a couple of weeks.

Hmm... they're coming to Chicago and playing pretty much right outside my apartment...

what sort of music might one expect at their show?

I found someone else to work. It was a FANTASTIC show. I can't really describe the music that well. You can download an .mp3 of "Did I Step On Your Trumpet?" on their website.

They played an encore of "I Believe" and had the whole crowd sing along and turned the instruments down so you could hear everything. Fantastic.

Anyways, afterwards I had some yummy organic juice and vegan food at Hard Times.

Everybody calls it the cities here and in the numerous other towns I've lived in(Bird Island, Olivia, Montevideo, Granite, etc.)

We didn't get lost but the one guy that actually lives there that we went with did get lost on the way to the show.

I just got Ships and I have Tri-Danielson on 2xLP and Fetch The Compass Kids. I ordered a seven inch single and Ships on vinyl as well.

They played all the songs from Ships except for My Lion Sleeps Tonight and they played "I Believe" and one that I hadn't heard.

Cool...I have Prayers for Every Hour, Tell a Joke at the Ol' Chopping Block, Tri-Danielson Alpha and Omega, Fetch the Compass Kids, Brother is to Son, the three new 7" records, and Ships...plus Lenny Smith: Deep Calls to Deep.

There are a couple more 7" records I need to get.

Yeah, I am going to be buying about as much as I can in the next few months. I've really been getting into them lately. All the pitchfork kids will eat the new album up. It was a packed house. There were these country/amish-looking people who after the first song yelled "Danielson just means the world to us." and Daniel was just like "You mean the world to us, too, sir. I sincerely mean that."

It was amazing. Easily the best show I've seen so far this year.

I'm going to see Danielson twice this Saturday--once at an in-store, and once at the concert. Woo.
