Record stores in Manchester
 

I'm going up to Manc land tomorrow for a few days. What's a good record store up there?

well piccadilly records is good but expensive. there a fopp just off market street biut generally find oldham street and all the good ones are up there-picadilly, vinyl revival, the vinyl exchange and a bunch of others like eastern bloc.

oh and theres clampdown but thats more memorablia type stuff. if you want a set of matching oasis tea towels, thats the place for you

That is precisely why I'm coming to Manchester. It's a life-long dream of mine to own tacky memorabilia of a band that haven't been any good for about 13 years.

Picadilly is probably one of the good ones and vinyl exchange is not bad as well if you can face filing through all the stuff they have there and its a lot. they are both on the same stret too which makes things handy.
