I don't know what to say, other than that's a shit situation to be in. I have relatives in Belfast and it's a fucking dump. Get out ASAP. Move to NY with me and we can become male prostitutes or something. It'd be great.

though not nearly as bad as your situation, my lease is ending in a few months and my brother has left me completely high and dry by backing out of agreeing to move in. also all of my friends are probably not close enough now to lend me a hand.

I'm in the same boat. I can't find a job to save my ass. Not even minimum wage.

Maybe employers sense I don't really want work, just money. But if they'd pay a living wage, I'd take a job. I find it insulting to seek employment that pays poverty wages and they want to make it sound like they're doing you a favor.

There's always crime. :cool:
