There is a guy at my work that is forever asking people to come to a class which costs 500$ for 3 days

By the sounds of it, that would definitely be a bad thing to do. Why would you do that? It's clearly a business and has no psychological basis except brainwashing.

i always wanted to start a cult, but i could never think of anything crazy to worship.

How about a cult that worships Homer Simpson? I'd join it.

that's not a bad one. we should start a SY cult. just follow em around everywhere they go, wearing silver robes and creeping em out. i bet it'd give them a good idea for a song.

i think it has been banned in france because it classifies as a cult
there is this big french doco about it with hidden camera footage

I swear my friend's relatives are in a church cult. They are all insane...

A friend of a friend's boss was in a cult too, I don't remember what was involved but it was pretty weird.
