So what are you British sods spending today doing?

I've gotta do some painting on me house (that's the bad thing about beng a painter, everyone wants favours doing for them) then i've no idea what else.

I'm at work.I walked over Waterloo Bridge this morning and there were only 2 people in sight.'Ghost Town' by the Specials sprang to mind.

Work? on a bank holiday? Madness that is madness.

i have to because my contract says i have to be in the ofiice mo-fri.

Bummer. I haven't made any plans but I bought the Werner Herzog boxset on dvd yesterday so I have plenty to keep me amused.

God that suck majorly, some companies have no soul. Well it seems like i'm the only person off. I'll be thinkin if you all when i'm doing bugger all.

bank holiday. its cold and its raining. no change there then.

Memorial day for the us of a. my dad is home installing an hdtv in the family room. Me? I do nothing everyday but right now TCM has some sort of war movie marathon and I'm watching that.

It was a warm, sunny bank holiday in my part of the world.

There was a plan at one stage that all EU countries would get all EU countries' bank holidays, if you see what I mean. But they realised that Europe would be shut for basically the whole of March.

I may trundle along to a party. It'll be full of college kids. I'm not sure if it's a good idea. As yet, being as I am unemployed, Bank Holiday days are pretty much the same as normal days.

i spent the day reading comics, listening to music and fucking about on the internet.

I spent it doing a bit of reading, some shopping, some cooking and playing Black and White 2 and Half Life 2. I haven't played any computer games for a while so it was nice.

Oh, and also fucking about on the internet of course.

I love the UK threads. All this talk of "trundling about me flat" on the "holiday". I want to be British...

Oooooh! Is black and white 2 awesome as hell even more than the first? I sure do want to play it.

I was getting pretty compelled by it yesterday....it was only the demo though. My friend has just won a copy on ebay though....might try and get a copy or something.
