this is the mix that i'm "djing" at my best friend's birthday party. what do you think? i was going to put the descendents in my hardcore block but i think it works great as an opening song. this is my first attempt at "djing"

Looks good, uhler, although I'd be tempted to stick on the Ronettes track last.

yeah i was thinking that but i think everyone might enjoy hearing cherry bomb to close it out. it'll probably be a last minute choice.

i would have to change the order of the bikini kill track then since i can't have two riot grrl songs in a row.

needs funk, soul, and hip hop

I think it's pretty good. Seems to cater to a bunch of people's needs, which is key for party music.

i was thinking about putting some wu-tang clan on there, but i'm not a big hip-hop fan anymore. i love soul and old r&b and ska but i couldn't find a place in it, but i did include the ronettes and ehhh funk isn't my kind of thing aside from a few artists. anyway all i need to do is walk down to one of the many bars here on friday night to hear some hip-hop or funk.
