Who Wants To Remix A Song?
 

so i think the new song i posted on my music page could use a nice reworking from someone besides myself. i think it could even get remixed as a nice downtempo hip hop song or something. it's called perseids. if anyone is interested email me and i'll email you the MP3.

i can't email wav. files becasue there to big. and to everybody else, just send me an email w/ remix in the title (or something stating that yr from teh msg board and interested in the remix) and can email you the mp3. :)

Man, I listened to the song a couple more times, and I can't really do anything constructive to it. If you want some hip hop in there I suggest replacing the drums, but I think this song sounds better the way it is.

yeah i'm keeping the original, i just wanted to have a remix of it for shits and giggles. add some new drums to it man.

If you're not serious about what you do, why would you expect anyone to keep the original for what it is? you might as well replace it with something better.

i don't think i get yr statement. i'm serious about this song, yeah, i just wanted too see what other peoples interpretation of the song would be. like for example, if i was in an actual band, on a label, getting paid to do this, and i was gonna release that song as a single, it'd be cool to have a remix to throw on there as the b-side. does that better explain?

Uhhhh...I've been being very lazy the past few days. I can't really re-mix it, but I can overdub it. I'll probably add something from Carlin's Weather routine, "Tonight's forecast: dark" would be great for the Perseid theme. And I may add a sample of Lurr proclaiming that he is from the planet Omicron Persei 8.
