Synthy - IF that is true in any way, that is fantastic news....I could go on all day about the gay scene in London and HIV, but won't - I feel that we would come to the same conclusions pretty quickly, for starters...

I know, hopefully that is true. And I agree with your comment about the mainstream gay scene. It's the same here in West Hollywood.

I was reading only a few days back, I think on the beebs site, that HIV has become something more akin to Diabetes - thanks to the modern drugs and treatment.

Like the article says, HIV finds a way around medications eventually, it's not as easily managed and a life on such medication isn't really as comfortable as that of a medicated diabetic.

I've seen too many pictures of the effects of STD's to ever consider unprotected sex with anyone other than long term partner type

Yeah I just took a sex ed class to fill in some credits. The open-book tests on STDs were terrible. I think I may have been sterile for a good two weeks from the images.
