On my first trip to Chicago a few years ago, I went on a pilgramage to Cottage Grove Ave. I was underwhelmed.

I met Wesley Willis once, headbutts and all. He was nice, and he autographed my ticket stub for me. That show was pretty crazy, he played "Rock n' Roll McDonalds" and "The Chickencow" though, cool stuff. I was sad when he passed away. The guy had a pretty rough life.

i was shocked when i found out he died. he was gonna do a tour in the uk but only a handful of people bought tickets and he had to cancel. bummer.
