It's a good one. Nichols, the director, is married to TV journalist Diane Sawyer.


I'm off the cable now. Just used my forty dollar credit the other day for a digital converter box and the most expensive rabbit ears the store had. Ah, no more cable bills, and less television viewing in general...I'm psyched.

The Graduate is the one film I can think of with Dustin Hoffman in it where he doesn't irritate the hell out of me.

Good movie, they've been showing Anne Bancroft stuff all day.

I can watch this over and over. It's perfect.

It's one of my favorite movies of all time. When I tell people that I think people think I'm a perv or something. But Benjamin is a character I can really relate to.

I think anyone who's ever graduated from college, been in love, or felt bereft can relate to it.

Or run out of gas.

Or sat in the back of a city bus while Simon & Garfunkle played in the background.
