SY Italian book with "unreleased 7"' on ebay, anyone know anything about it?
 

i have got this, the tracks on the 7" are Shaking Hell - live at Vera, Groningen, Netherlands 24/11/83 and Little Jammy Thing 8/8/91

the book is in Italian on half the page and English on the other half

it's a mini cd and mine has SIAE SCONC.27 on it too for soem reason. i think it's a serial number. it's not bad for that price. got mine on ebay years ago for $5.

this is the 2nd version of the book that came out in 1997 i think with cd instead of 7" and 1 extra track, the original book came out in 1992 (i think)

EDIT: yrs is a mini cd? i have this with full size cd, was there 3 editions of this book?

Little Jammy Thing = An instrumental demo of Wish Fulfillment set to a peculiar sounding beatbox track. Released semi-officially on a 7"/CD that came with the Sonic Life book.

The book is a bit of fun, really. Not good, not bad.
The authors will hate me for that :)

Does the "bigger" book have the same stuff in it, stu?

I have the CD/book version, and I found the book without the 7" as well.

I'd really prefer to have the 7" !!!

the bigger book has more pics and also has the lyrics for these albums: BMR, EVOL, Sister, DDN and Goo. but the discography only goes upto 1991

the smaller book has a couple of extra sections at the back from 1992-1997 and 1 extra track included on the cd, no lyrics though in here, but the discography goes upto 1996

so apart from those differnces they are basicly the same or not?

the bigger book looks better on my shelf also :D

the small one is pretty tiny and gets lost amonst my other books!

strangely they both have 95 pages, but the big one is easier to read, i think the smaller book may have some different pics than the bigger one aswell, so after all this comparing i think the big one is the one to get, but for completists like me you should get both, hope this helps a bit

I keep it with the SY cds, as I don't have an LP shelf (no turntable yet, lame me) :D.
but yes, bigger book is cool. when I have some spare money I'll go for it (there are always some on ebay).

i use to have both the books, but i gave them away to potential SY fans :)
so i have no idea what year they were. i had the 7", but alas my dumbass sat on it and broke it bout 7 years ago :( my cd version of it looks just like the picture of the one you have cept it's a mini cd and it came in a clear plastic sleeve glued to the inside back cover of the book. hope that helps.
