I'm hoping I'll be able to get in, for some reason the venue I'm going to is putting them in the smaller room that can only hold 350... I'm just hoping I'll be able to get tickets.

Wow I think I just had the most bullshit experience of my life
The show was being sponsored by camel so they wouldn't let us in, but they had no problem selling us tickets.
Its bullshit because all the camel stuff was outside, and they wouldn't even let you smoke inside. But just because camel sponsored they wouldnt let us in....

That sucks man. 18+ shows are dumb and 21+ shows are fucking bullshit. Fuck the sponsor or whether or not the venue sells booze, if someone wants to see a kickass band, let them in!!

Exactly. Some kids came in from out of town to see it and they wouldn't let them in.

The venues are just money-grabbing bastards. Some of them around here charge an extra $2-4 cover to people under 21 for 18+ shows because they're losing money on alcohol sells.

Yeah, total bullshit. I got screwed out of seeing SY when I was 17 because the venue had the show 18+, but fucking Disturbed, Seether, and Puddle of Crudd are all ages because of the fucking whiney metal kids.

Saw them in April or so this year ... boring as hell. I wish I stumble upon this band no more.

The age thing is bullshit all the way - I got in to see bands in pubs when I was 16 - the landlords didn't give a shit, as long as I bought some alcohol.

A few weeks ago my friend was going to get tickets for Disturbed, but it was an 18+ show, he was so annoyed. The same thing happened when I was going to buy tickets for Ed Kuepper.

I hope you enjoyed! my friend sozavac was there. I could not go due to other scheduling but yhe had asked me to go with him. he texted me late last nigth saying the melvins blew out his eardrums and he was very happy

warehouse live ussualy dioes a great job of putting on shows. I have never been to a show there where they did not let in "kids"

when I took my g/f tyo see regina spector it wa ssponsored by camel and it was chock full of high school age girls who ogled the instigator pants snake.

I got into Melvins easily.

It was Earth/Sir Richard Bishop that I got bumped back for...
