I love the moon & antarctica album. dark center of the universe is such a classic track!!!!

what al tonno said. plus "The Fruit that ate itself" EP is quite a hidden gem in my opinion - some great tracks on it!

not a huge fan but the album "this is a long drive for those who have nothing to talk about " is class....

Good News is not even close to their best.

Lonesome Crowded West way too long (like Moon), but has:

and a few other outstanding tunes.

Long Drive, Lonesome Crowded West, Moon & Antarctica, and the Building Nothing Out of Something comp. are all great. Both Good News and We Were Dead have a handful of very good tracks, but they're pretty inconsistent compared to their earlier material.

I have Lonesome Crowded West, but I just can't seem to really get into them.

I've always thought this. Just listen to the song cycle from "Cities Made Of Ashes" through "Stars Are Projectors" ...it's all way Disintegration.

Cure-rip off? they always sounded so much like The Pixies to me.

the band has indeed gone to shit. but jerimiah green is one of my favorite drummers out there.

Their early catalog, yeah, super Pixies.
