MBV kicks ass on stage and all, but they bore me.
I'm really into listening their LPs with headphones while focusing on dreamy stuff or whatever.

i must be way behind but are they releasing a new LP sometime or are they just cashing in like The pIxies?

but they're not a very entertaining band to watch, i agree...but explosions in the sky has got to be the most boring fucking band i have ever had the displeasure of seeing.

I saw explosions in the sky open up for fugazi about 3-4, years ago. jesus fuck what a dull set of "COUCH-ROCK"

I've been unable to see them, so hopefully they'll do whatever to keep touring into 2009 or so. I must see them. End of story.

exactly EITS = can produce good studio music but live is a bore.
I don't think bands have to be really great on stage either. producing good music on disc is already an achievement.

New Order were notoriously shit live but they're a shit-load better than the Cranberries, who were supposedly quite good.
