well yes and no. see, a 9mm Glock is always a pistol, regardless if you know this, or have ever seen a pistol, or know what a pistol does. And if you do not know what a pistol does, and you pick it up and shoot somebody, regardless of your knowledge, experience and intentions, you just fucking shot somebody!

so that being said, if mushrooms are a force or power in the world, then you dont have to be conscious of this fact for them to retain their powers upon consumption. They remain a power regardless of your awareness, just a pistol remains a tool of destruction even you don't intend to destroy anything at all!

I see where you're coming from, but I don't look at mushrooms like that.

A lot of people I know see shrooms as a power, and feel like they've found something or other once their trip is done.

When I do mushrooms, get get high and trip out. When it's over, I either try to go to sleep or I just pass out. Nothing found, nothing lost, just a good time.

Mushrooms are awesome. I just laugh and watch tv and see the people coming out of the screen. Actually, I felt like everything was like the movie Videodrome when I did them. Except hilarious.

But yeah, definitely a drug. I'd like to get some more and do some more before I say anything else. I guess technically you can use them to do powerful things and they open up your mind.. they helped me deal with some shit that was bothering me at the time.. but I dunno.

Mushrooms are a psychotropic drug. I used to likes them a lot, but they still drugs, at the end of the day.
