"Hallowe'en" appreciation thread.
 

Last nite I listened to it over and over again. It's one of the most beautiful and creepy songs ever. Regardless of what inspired it, the title could be more perfect. If I could produce horror films, I'd open lots of them with this. Love it.

Yeah. That's what I love about it. (And what they perfected a year later with EVOL) is that SOMEHOW they create a sound that is equally beautiful and horrifying. They combine a love song with a horror score. (In my head.) Awesome.

That song sounds really "out there". Bad Moon Rising is my favorite SY album actually, especially for this "out there" atmosphere going through the whole album

"Brave Men Run" is probably my favorite on there. Especially when combined with "Intro."

My favorite duo is Ghost Bitch / I'm Insane. The transition between the two is incredible. Society Is A Hole / I Love Her All The Time is fantastic as well

Yes, her singing is absolutely perfect on this song. Spectral and fantomatic (okay that's the same thing)

Halloween is pretty cool and I really love the lyrics too. They're powerful lol I want to use the word ''FUCK''.

"Use the word fuck" are Flower's lyrics, not Halloween ;)

But yeah, Halloween has great lyrics too. "There's something shifting in the distance", I really like that line in particular
